PROVISION NO. 26.0
- If a person is refused membership of a co-operative society, the decision must be communicated to him within 7 days of the date of the decision.
- Any member of a co-operative society may withdraw from the membership of the society after giving at least one month's notice to the society, provided that he is not in debt to the society or is not a surety for any unpaid debt. The notice period is decided by the bye-laws of the society, but it cannot be less than 1 month and more than 6 months.
