Chapter 2- Procedure and Documentation for Sanction/Completion of Building Plans, Section 2.4- Layout/ Site Plan or Sub-division Plans

Layout/ Site Plan or Sub-division Plans are prepared by the Authority/
concerned local body or by the Developers and are sanctioned/ approved by the
competent authority. If a project has an area more than one hectare per individual plot, a  layout plan/revised layout plan must be submitted along with the building plan, indicating the locations of different buildings of the same or different use zone/ use premises.

Landscape Plan: It must be prepared for all the group housing proposals of site
plan /subdivision plans. A landscape plan must be preferably be on a scale of 1:500 or subject to readability. It must indicate the circulation, parking spaces, pathways, lawns, trees, shrubs, ground cover and climbers.

For Group Housing schemes, the number of trees in the respective premises shall be one tree per 100 sq.m of open space in the plot.
