  1. Every doorway shall open into an enclosed stairway, a horizontal exit, on a corridor or passageway.
  2. The minimum width of the exit doorways shall be equivalent to the width of the staircase for low-rise residential plotted development and table no 8.1 for other use premises.
  3. Exit doorways shall open outwards, that is away from the room but shall not obstruct the travel along any exit.
  4. Exit doors shall not open immediately upon a flight of stairs.
  5. Exit doorways shall be openable from the side, which they serve without the use.
  6. Revolving doors shall not to be provided as means of fire exit.
  7. Mirrors shall not be placed in exit ways or exit doors to avoid confusion regarding the direction of exit.
